Also inserted an autogr. letter from Davenport to Parkin (31 Oct. 1914) saying that he is much gratified that Parking acquired this book (his most expensive one) and that there are two others Parking should get as well, and some newspaper-clippings on Davenport (on a lecture he gave in Hastings - where Parkin lived - in October 1914 and a short biography from Davenport from the St. Leonards Chronicle, April 16, 1920). An interesting association copy..
